M Gandhi stood at the edge of the pool, staring up at the daunting high dive. "You can't do this," whispered her fear. "Yes, I can," she replied, resolve in her voice.
"Everyone says it's impossible," M Gandhi confessed to her friend. "But what if they're wrong? What if I'm right?"
"I used to be afraid too," the old woman said, "until I realized, the only limits are the ones we believe." M Gandhi nodded, inspired.
M Gandhi closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and stepped forward. But her foot froze. She couldn't jump. Not yet.
"I failed," M Gandhi sighed. "No, you didn't," her friend reassured. "You're learning, that's all."
"Maybe I just need to see it from a different angle," M Gandhi mused. "A different angle, and a different heart."
M Gandhi opened her eyes, saw the water below, and smiled. "This is my story," she thought. "I write the ending." She jumped.
M Gandhi surfaced, her laughter echoing around the pool. She had done it. The limits were hers to define. And she had chosen to soar.
